Above all, we know that great fishing isn’t about the kilos you carry home. It’s about the thrill of the catch, the breathtaking Lofoten nature, and the laughs shared on the boat. Unfortunately, irresponsible operators have damaged trust and put extra pressure on the fish stocks. Therefore, these new rules protect our seas and encourage all of us to fish sustainably for many years ahead.
At Røst Fishing Camp, we already practice daily catch reporting, education on sustainable practices and guiding. Furthermore, we’re ready to adapt to any new requirements that protect our ocean. Our goal is for our children and grandchildren to enjoy the same healthy seas we do today.
