Nice fight on light gear Lofoten Multi-Species fishing Madness this week! To begin with, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming back Zoubovsky Nicolas and his group of French fishermen. In fact, Nicolas returned for his second year at Røst Fishing Camp. Moreover, these guys are no strangers to wild fishing adventures, since they’ve travelled together to top tropical destinations for years.
This time, they’ve come north for a taste of what multi-species fishing madness in Lofoten can deliver. And it’s safe to say, it’s been an incredible week!
Every day, they’ve been landing fish after fish. In addition, they’re mixing it up between powerful Pollacks, trophy Atlantic cod, and even a few surprises in between. So far, they’ve topped the scales, with Pollacks up to 7 kg and massive cods reaching 24 kg. Clearly, you don’t need to be in the tropics to battle giants!
Above all, it’s always a pleasure to see experienced anglers like these come back and push their limits in the north. The teamwork, the laughs, and the stories shared each night back at camp are what make these trips so special.
Finally, we can’t wait to see what the rest of their week brings. And we know they’ll be back for more!
