This week, we’re excited to welcome two Sea bass anglers at Røst Fishing. Eduardo Ayuso and Jordan Tellier our new guests who bring fresh energy and serious talent to Røst Fishing Camp. If you follow French sea bass fishing, you probably saw that Eduardo and Jordan are well-known experts. As a team, they recently won the Open de Jade in France. It’s always interesting at the camp to welcome new experienced anglers since they are bringing some fresh knowledge with them.
After years spent targeting sea bass and big tropical predators, they decided to swap warm seas for the raw beauty of Lofoten’s waters. We made the lure selection by phone before their trip, and I advised them on the rod selection to carry. Check this article to find how to get ready to fish at Rost. And I must say that they’ve adapted incredibly fast. With their knowledge for reading the water, they’ve already landed impressive cod, pollack, and coalfish. And they still have 3 days to go before the end of they stay.
Above all, it’s inspiring to see their passion on the water. Rods bent, drags screaming, and big laughs echoing across the boa, this is what makes our camp special. Moreover, Eduardo and Jordan both say they’ve fallen in love with Røst. The wild surroundings, the ever-changing light, and the healthy fish stocks. Furthermore, just minutes from the dock, making this place unforgettable. Additionally, they were lucky enough to encounter a group of whales on their very first day.
Hosting Sea bass anglers at Røst Fishing reminds us what this place is all about: you come for the fish, but you stay for the memories, the new friendships, and the thrill of the next big catch. We know Eduardo and Jordan will be back for more!
